Our craftsmen hand-hone every surface, then finish it in-house with specialty patinas and architectural powder coatings you won’t find on a catalog cabinet. Warm blackened graphite, weathered pewter, soft matte bronze, or any custom color your designer specifies. Certified GTAW and orbital welds disappear into seamless corners. Brass is unforgiving. It shows every hand that touches it — which is exactly why we build with it. Berlin’s solid brass cabinetry is formed, welded, and hand-finished by craftsmen with decades at the bench, in finishes ranging from mirror-bright to deep living patina that keeps evolving for the life of your home. Pair it with hand-honed stainless for the look our Hillsborough clients made famous, or let it stand alone as the centerpiece of a kitchen, bar, or butler’s pantry. Every panel is drawn in-house on Solidworks or CAD and built to your specifications. No two are identical. We pride our furniture as fingerprint elements.

We start with how you’ll actually use it: your reach, your equipment, your storage, your floor. Then our craftsmen fabricate it in mixed metals — hand-honed stainless, solid brass, architectural powder coating, or an organic patina that keeps developing character for the life of the room. Locking casters engineered to carry stone. Prototyped, refined, and signed off by you before we cut steel. Yours alone, permanently.

Berlin’s luxury indoor stainless cabinetry is engineered to the same tolerances as our laboratory work — then finished like fine furniture. Choose flush-mount inset for a crisp, architectural reveal, or full-overlay for uninterrupted planes of hand-honed steel. Every door and drawer runs on soft-close hardware: whisper-quiet, and rated for decades of daily use. Nothing is standard. Each box is drawn in-house on CAD and built to your room’s exact dimensions — around your appliances, your ceiling height, the quirks of a hundred-year-old wall. Finish it in a living patina, blackened graphite to warm bronze, that deepens every year you cook. Built by hand since 1941.

Outdoors, wood alone fails. Stainless alone feels cold. Berlin builds the answer: a fully welded stainless steel core wrapped in the wood species you choose — teak, ipe, reclaimed oak, or cedar. The structure never rots, warps, swells, or sags on its hinges, no matter what fog, salt air, or a Sonoma summer throws at it. Replace or refinish the cladding in a decade; the cabinet underneath is still perfect. Marine-grade hardware, weep-drained interiors, and powder-coated or patina accents to match your architecture. Eighty years of commercial-grade fabrication, applied to the most beautiful room in your house.

Your grill is custom. Your cabinets shouldn’t be off-the-shelf. Berlin fabricates BBQ islands and cabinetry around your exact equipment, your exact space, and your exact way of cooking — cutouts machined to the tolerance of your specific grill, burner, and refrigeration units. Choose hand-honed stainless, brass accents, powder-coated color, living patina, or wood cladding over a welded stainless frame. Heat-rated compartments, drop-in coolers, ventilated tank storage, and drawers that still glide true after twenty seasons outside. Designed in-house on CAD, built by our own craftsmen, delivered and installed by our own crews. Nothing outsourced. Nothing generic.
