COVID-19 Statement

I want to share an update on what Berlin Food & Lab Equipment is doing to keep our customers and

our people safe while maintaining as an essential operation & maintaining San Mateo County Covid-19 guidelines.

Berlin Food & Lab Equipment is following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health

Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) & Local San Mateo County Public

Health & Safety Code 12095 on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are reminding our

employees about frequent hand washing, wearing masks, gloves, sanitizing, and we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facilities, and equipment. Importantly, we are asking that our employees stay home from work if they feel sick or have been in contact with anyone that is or has been sick.

Many people are asking the same question: Is it safe to receive and handle a stainless equipment

shipments? The WHO and CDC have stated that the likelihood of catching the COVID-19 virus by

touching cardboard or other equipment during shipping is low. We will be maintaining a thorough

cleaning and wipe down before shipments leave the facility, and implore our customers to also

thoroughly wipe down using standard cleaning protocol before equipment is accepted into their

facilities. Currently We will not be shipping equipment or receiving equipment unless we are given essential operation notification authorization, and we have written authorization from the city/county to do so.

When will Berlin Re-Open? We are currently an essential operation authorization by 3/23/20. we will send out a notifications during changes to any status. Currently operations such as residential & commercial have been reopened under strict safety protocol. We are currently serving the Biotech, Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Industries with elevated safety criteria set in place.
